Happy Spring Break everyone! For some of you it's just starting, but for me, it's just about over.  I took these photos earlier in my week but haven't found the time to actually post them!  It's been a few weeks since my last post and let's just say that school has been seriously kicking my butt.  Regardless if your break is almost over or if it's just starting, Spring is finally here.  There are a few reasons why I love Spring.  First of all, it's starting to get warm and starting to stay warm but it also means that my birthday is coming up!  That's right, only three more weeks until I'm 21 (FINALLY).  Lastly, my love for anything bright.

DSC_0134I did some shopping earlier in the week, compliments of my mom of course.  I recently came to the realization that my wardrobe was becoming very dull.  I was wearing the same things over and over again and that's when I realized that I had to add some new pieces.  My shirt and jeans in this photo being two of them.  I've been desperately searching for a new pair of jeans since I've been getting tired of the ones I've been wearing.  I concluded that my wardrobe was incomplete without a pair of mid-washed jeans so I knew that's the next kind I wanted.  It's pretty safe to say that I found THE perfect pair.  I picked up these Joe's from The Blue Jeans Bar at Santana Row in San Jose and have been wearing them ever since.  The pretty basic blue wash of the denim is perfect for everyday use, and I love the distressing.  I haven't bought a pair of pre-torn jeans since high school, and I'm praying I don't accidentally shove my foot in it one morning.During that same trip I bought a few things from J.Crew, including the shirt.  Chartreuse (the technical name of the color) is one of my favorites colors to wear, and to see people wearing, so naturally I was stoked on it.  I can't wait to pair it with some colored shorts and my chucks.
