Blue Ivy

If you say you don't love Beyoncé, then you're probably lying. Although this post has absolutely nothing to do with Blue Ivy, Queen Bey's predecessor, I thought the title was appropriate because of the color of my outfit as well as the ivy that is starting to overtake this wall in the lovely city of orange. Plus, she's been on repeat ever since her album secretly dropped in December.

It's pretty safe to say that 50% of my wardrobe is blue. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm always drawn to that color, regardless of what it is. Sure it's my favorite color, but I guess it's also one color I love wearing. If you were to look at the majority of my accessories you would see a pretty strong trend as well. I love this look because it's pretty simple, but to keep it from being too monotone I added some contrast with the coral camo print socks that I stole from my friend/Little Bro from Nice Laundry. If there's one thing I learned at J.Crew (which I recently left to focus on school, graduation, and of course, my social life), it's that your sock game needs to always be on point. So it's safe to say that since working there, my collection of print and patterned socks has definitely multiplied. Don't be afraid to add that pop of color to any look whether that's through your accessories and shoes, especially this Spring. Tis the season to be bold with what you wear and I beg you to ask yourself before you choose your next outfit, WWBID? (What Would Blue Ivy Do?).
