Where do you live? Los Angeles

What made you want to start your blog? Probably being voted as “Best Dressed” in high school. Haha. But in all seriousness, I was always told I had great style and have always loved to shop (I mean, who doesn’t?) and sort of took that and just went for it. If I can inspire others by doing the things I love, then why not? Plus it’s a great way to show off some of my favorite looks that not everyone gets a chance to see. I also started a travel guide portion of my blog because I love exploring new places and am always asked what to see and do. I felt like it is a great way to give recommendations to friends and I always take so many photos of all the beautiful things I see that I didn't know what to do with all of them! Thus began my travel guides.

How would you define your personal style? I’ve always had a hard time answering that question. Growing up, I had a uniform at school, or a list of what I could wear and what I couldn’t. It mostly involved slacks and collared shirts, so I think that’s where the prep side of me comes from. On the other hand, living in Los Angeles, there are really no bounds or limits with what you can wear so I’m more willing to test the waters. I’m inspired by street style around the world, but still love clean lines and structure. So whenever someone comes up with a word to define that, that would be it!

How would you define your interior style? Another tough question, but I like to describe my interior style as East Meets West. Being from California, I have always loved how casual design is and how everything needs to be comfortable in a way. California style is very laid back and involves natural elements inspired by the beach, desert, forests, etc. On the other hand, I love how elevated and refined the style in New York is. The design there has so much more history with prewar buildings and more sophisticated details. So my interior style is a combination of the two and harmoniously tying together elements from both coasts to create a space that is relaxed yet pushes the envelope a little.

What’s the one wardrobe essential you can’t live without? Distressed denim, 100%! Oh, and sunglasses.

Where do you like to shop? I have so many places and I am not afraid to mix high and low. It's actually my favorite thing to do. For high-end pieces I love shopping on SSENSE, which is online only, Barneys, Maxfield, What Goes Around Comes Around, and others. For affordable I can be found at Topman, Zara, ASOS (online only), and vintage shops. I also don't limit myself to just menswear at places like Topman and Zara and sometimes buy jackets or pants from the women's section.

When you can’t think of anything to wear, what’s your go-to outfit? White t-shirt, vintage Levi's, leather jacket, and a pair of boots or sneakers. And black sunglasses.

What do you do when you aren’t blogging? I work full time for an interior designer and love it. I also can usually be found with my friends after work and on weekends either grabbing dinner, a drink or three, or dancing the night away. My go-to is grabbing a latte at Alfred Coffee on Melrose and shopping all day.

Favorite accessory? My Gucci waist bag that I use as a cross body at times.

Favorite cologne? I cycle through three, Le Labo's Santal 33, Gaiac 10, and Vanille 44.

Favorite city? Either New York or Paris, cliche I know!

Favorite food? Sushi

What is your favorite quote? “Do not chase people. Be you and do your own thing and work hard. The right people who belong in your life will come to you, and stay.”
